I'm back

You might have noticed that there hasn't been a post since on this blog since the November, 2004 elections. Well, my mother always taught me that if you can't say something nice, don't say it. Clearly, I don't do everything my mother taught me (or else I'd still be married and living with my ex-wife and child(ren) in the conservative Midwest). But NO, I've escaped to the "blue state" of California and I honor my mother on negotiated terms. Fortunately, she votes pretty much the same way I do. And, for what it's worth, my wonderfully-supportive son tends to vote like I do, too.

which will inform anyone who is interested what I've been doing over the past few months. I intend to maintain both blogs. They have slightly different goals. This one is spiritual, political and ideological while the other is social and casual and may tend to feature some age-sensitive content.
